In collaboration with Martin Creed, Matt oversaw the design and installation of this public artwork inside a Category A listed building in Edinburgh’s old town for The Fruitmarket Gallery. The installation is made up of 104 different types of marble from all over the world and is arranged for maximum visual contrast between the treads.

This project is a Haworth Tompkins commission

Matt helped to realise three new artworks with Haworth Tompkins for Martin Creed’s retrospective exhibition ‘What’s The Point of It’ at the Hayward Gallery on London’s Southbank.
