Community Housing Marshfield

18 new homes in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This project, for Marshfield Community Land Trust and Brighter Places, will help provide new affordable homes for this rural community. The homes will be arranged in barn-like structures and set around a community garden. We are exploring the use of local stone and brick with profiled metal roofs in response to the rural context.

We are collaborating with Reed Watts Architects on the design of 18 new homes in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This project, for Marshfield Community Land Trust and Brighter Places, will help provide new affordable homes for this rural community where many people are priced out of the local housing market. The homes will be arranged in linear barn-like structures and set around a community garden. We are exploring the use of local Cotswold stone, buff brick, and profiled metal in response to the rural context.
