Listed Building Extension & Refurbishment, Dorset

Shutes house included the extension and extensive refurbishment of a Grade II listed Rectory in Symondsbury, Dorset. The proposals sought to open out the cellular plan and provide a more light and airy kitchen and dining area with large doors to the patio area to improve views and access to the garden. Through careful management of the proposals and pre-application meetings with the local authority we gained consent for the works on the first application.
